Plastic Surgery? Cosmetic Surgery?

A lot of us gets a wrong perception between plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery.As a significant numbers of plastic surgeon choose to focus their practice on cosmetic surgery, causing the terms to be used interchangeably. Though they area closely related, they are not the same, and each of them even have different goals.

It is defined as a surgical specialty dedicated to reconstruction of facial and body defects, due to birth disorders, trauma, burns, and / or disease. It is intended to correct dysfunctional areas of the body and is reconstructive in nature.
